NewLAWu.s. Advisory Board
After his company’s sale, Chip formed a consulting business that created and nurtured cellular and outdoor advertising combinations throughout the U.S. Mexico and Central America.
Chip then moved into the mobile apps business focusing first on the golf industry with which he was quite familiar. This business morphed into a company specializing in software/middleware development of point-to-point solutions or those targeting specific objectives within existing solutions. Chip brings a wealth of experience in bridging technology development with business objectives and in the sales/marketing of the technology.

Jim couples a keen vision for innovation with an intimate knowledge of the technology, finances, procedures and protocols necessary to build a company capable of moving a great idea to a great and marketable product.
Jim’s technological background will prove invaluable to our technology platform development, implementation and marketing and his experience and understanding of the legal marketplace and its shift to new law models will help bring fresh, entrepreneurial insights into where NewLAWu.s. should be headed.
His career began in sales with IBM, matriculated to Pepsi Cola where he headed its world-wide infrastructure, consulting and network applications and, from 1996 – 2015, bourgeoned through senior executive roles with Cisco that included Global Director of Financial Services, Vice President of New York Metro Area, Vice President of Americas Vertical Sales, Senior Vice President of U.S. Federal Organizations and Senior Vice President of U.S. Public Sectors. His annual budgets ranged from $3B to $6B.
Pat’s extensive experience with developing innovative technology and taking it to market will greatly assist the implementation of our technology platform and its introduction into the marketplace.
Upon demonstrating his practice and law firm leadership there, he was recruited to Phoenix to head up a new IP practice with what is now Quarles & Brady. Mike left Quarles & Brady and quickly became the head of Squire Patton Boggs’ international IP Practice Group.
Mike left the practice to pursue a writing and speaking career, which he now enjoys. The author of eight books on emerging businesses and intellectual property, Mike also speaks internationally on business and technology issues dozens of times each year.
Mike serves on a handful of select emerging company boards and keeps his hand in the intellectual property practice through the provision of strategic legal advice and counsel to hand-picked clients.
Mike has a national reputation in sophisticated real estate development and finance circles and is routinely called to structure and negotiate complex transactions of all kinds. Mike’s formation of a boutique real estate firm was not particularly innovative at the time but his shepherding of it into one of the top real estate firms in the country comprising many times the number of lawyers than most boutiques was – and is – innovative.
Mike brings a combination of real-time law firm management and practice experience coupled with business and capital markets savvy.
During this time, Brian provided national and global leadership to very successful sales/marketing/operations teams, oversaw the creation and building of multi-billion dollar software platforms. More recently, he served as vice president of Cisco’s Global Business Services where, among other things, he headed up the company’s go-to-market strategic analyses and decision-making.
Brian provides NewLAWu.s. with incredibly valuable experience that will be necessary to smartly and efficiently build its technology platform, integrate it into day-to-day operations for testing and formulate and execute a go-to-market strategy.
